Beginner's Courses
Manawatu Archery Club offers beginner's courses throughout the year.
Each beginner's course takes place over three two-hour sessions. No experience is necessary and all equipment is provided.
The course aims to provide you with the fundamentals of archery and, most importantly, an understanding of the rules of the range.
Once you have completed the course you will be able to join the club as a member and shoot with us on the range - your archery journey will have begun!

Membership
Once you are a member of the club you will have access to the outdoor 90-metre range, and the smaller range inside our hall.
Membership fees are paid from the date you join, and annually after that. The club shoots every Sunday from 9.00 am until 12.00 pm.
Our members are friendly and many are extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the sport. We range in skill from beginners, to casual shooters, to hunters, to champions with NZ archery records - if you have a question on the range, just ask!
